Education is not a one-size-fits-all discipline, and we believe it's essential that our approach is tailored to the specific learning needs of each student in our classes. Learning in small groups also creates a healthy competitive environment, encourages peer learning, promotes bonding and helps students to develop their social skills. As tutors, we get to know the students as individuals so we can appropriately support and challenge them academically. We value creative thinking almost as much as content mastery and want students to value their own ability to think creatively, and encourage them to use novel ways to demonstrate their knowledge.

Mathematics
At its core, we believe Maths to be a subject for life!
When teaching Maths at a junior level we ensure that the child learns and understands basic concepts and fundamentals. Unless the foundation is firm, it is impossible for students to understand complex concepts in higher classes. When there is no understanding, the child loses confidence and starts to label the subject as 'difficult'. At a higher level, we believe to take it step by step so as to not overwhelm the child with the amount of syllabus. We constantly encourage students to ask questions and ensure active participation while solving examples and theorems. We always ensure that our lessons involve multiple learning modalities, so that students learn through their preferred learning style.
Science
We believe our role of science facilitators is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of students. Using case studies, real-life examples, and thought-provoking questions, we hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. We believe in making science concepts real through interactive learning tools, fostering critical thinking skills and using the content in the textbook as a springboard for their future exploration. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are live subjects which occur around us everyday! All we need to do is understand the theory behind these occurrences to excel at school.
Approach to Grinds: “Self-help is the best help! I believe the best approach to teaching is to make the student self-reliant. According to me, it is important to create genuine spark and interest in a subject in a student which in turn makes learning very easy. Studying no longer feels like a burden. Once a student is interested in a subject, there is automatic increase in scores, no special efforts required! Simply focusing only on getting better marks in exams causes unnecessary stress and unhealthy competition. It is also detrimental for the student’s wellbeing in the long run. It is important to learn for life.” – Anuja
Approach to Grinds: “My approach with students is to break down complicated topics to simple concepts . My aim is to truly make the student understand - not simply memorize and make it as interactive as possible while encouraging the students to ask a lot of questions. I try and pace the classes based on the audience and often push the students to go that extra mile. Finally it is all about putting in the hard work and preparing for the exams so I try to simulate the environment so that the student is well prepared for the final day ” – Vaibhav
